[below] Bri's Breakfast Tacos (…more info further down)
Living in the South Loop in Chicago after college, I finally hit me why I love the style of the loft apartments….
Big, high ceilings, open, airy, room to breathe!!!
I guess my cramped childhood living conditions had me craving airy, open spaces…
Had a lot of fun in those days in my post college years in my loft living, but I remember always wanting more romance, and more living space…..
And I never got to the level of that "can't get enough romance" ultimate relationship, nor did I ever get to the level of this amazing loft in Minsk, Belarus.
Guess I'm "Never Satisfied" …………yep 🙂

breakfast tacos
The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": As I say over this blog, I don't eat a heck of a lot of bread or grains, but when I do, I get healthy pitas from Sami's Bakery, [order online] they have some very healthy pitas to replace ordinary soft taco shells

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": Great recipe above, but I'll use Whole Foods Turkey Sausage instead of Chorizo. With the recipe below, stick with maple syrup as recipe suggests, and with organic ingredients, and swapping in Pink Himalayan Salt instead of table salt, you're good to go!!!

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": Great recipe above, but in spite of how healthy kale is, it's not my thing, I prefer spinach. With the recipe below, I'd rather pay the extra and get grass fed dairy from Whole Foods (they always have a few brands, you have to ask if not sure which ones)

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": It's personal choice but for the recipe above, I will omit the bacon or try to get some awesome tasting Whole Foods turkey sausage in the recipe somehow. If you use bacon, go with "uncured" bacon. For recipe below, go with Pink Himalayan Salt and look for grass fed dairy (such as Organic Valley brand) at Whole Foods or elsewhere

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": For recipe below, as with others on this page, Pink Himalayan Salt and grass fed dairy (such as Organic Valley brand) will "flip" it to healthy/delicious. Same grass fed dairy suggestion applies to recipe below.

Michael Franks: "Never Satisfied"
(….ENJOY!!!! While you take a tour of the crib 🙂 )
…..about the crib
This 3000sf interior in Minsk, Belarus, attempts to shatter the stereotypes associated with industrial-influenced interiors while still embracing the features.
It maintains the mainstays of industrial decor such as the extensive use of unfinished concrete and exposed ductwork but makes a more comfortable impression thanks to its warm color theme and comfortable furniture choices.
Concrete cladding captures the eye with a mottled finish, while the distressed wood floors imitate the effects of age. Unfinished wood offers up organic warmth and soft textiles comfort the resident without sacrificing an ounce of contemporary style. Upstairs, the bedroom makes a strong first impression with chain link fence over exposed brick.
A vertical garden reinforces the urban aesthetic. The opposite side of the room remains simple to minimize distraction. The eye naturally rests on the soothing flicker of the fireplace, sure to lull the resident into a slumber.
The office absolutely takes a few risks to achieve its technical aesthetic – the result is creative and engaging, but doesn’t overwhelm the eye or distract the resident from the important work to be done.
