I have to take a little "Blogger's Creative License" with this post, because this amazing Penthouse is actually in The Garment District about a mile up the road from Tribeca, in Manhattan.
But, since I always splice in one of my fav' songs into my Home Cookin' articles to "set my scene", unless I find a song called "The Garment District", I gotta go with what works for my "Cyber Canvas".
There are several Tribeca lofts on my fav' HGTV page Homeadore.com, but this one moves me the most, so I have to make it a "stunt double" for a Tribeca Loft, to satisfy my mind's eye …… yep 🙂

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": I totally avoid store bought mayo and make my own 3 ingredient healthy mayo. Even the Spectrum Olive Oil Mayo in this recipe Spectrum Olive Oil Mayo, is exposed as unhealthy

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": I have no idea what that "squid ink" is in this recipe to make the buns a dark color. But I love the dark bun presentation, and love the recipe, might be worth finding a natural dark bun coloring, like maybe blueberries.

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": With grass fed cheese from Whole Foods and organic ingredients, this recipe is healthy as is. Buy organic bread because non-organic wheat is sprayed with Glyphosate, the true root of some gluten issues

The Healthy Chef's "healthy morsel": A good recipe as long as I make my own 3 ingredient healthy mayo. Stick with wild caught shrimp and avoid farm raised, wild caught shrimp is low in toxins, farm raised shrimp is high in toxins.

Kenny G: "Tribeca"
( I wasn't a big Kenny G fan, but this is one of my all time favorite "Smooth Jazz" songs" ENJOY!!!!)
…..about the crib
A professional couple in New York City commissioned Charles Rose Architects to design a home that could serve as a soothing oasis within the city.
They introduced natural light to the interiors through the creation of two linear skylights and a small, two-story glass atrium, which also provide direct access from the living area to the roof. The spaces are appointed with furniture that reinforces its simplicity—from the rectilinear benches that run the length of the dining table to the flush casework throughout the space.
The wooden tile mosaic in the dining area is a bold tapestry, but the placid look in the girl’s eyes—evoking Botticelli’s Birth of Venus—tempers its presence and allows it to augment the space without diminishing its calm. The mosaic was originally created for and installed in a New York restaurant.
The mosaic was a favorite of the clients: a product resulting from the collaboration of an illustrator and a design studio. The mosaic was slated for demolition to make way for a new tenant, so the clients obtained it for the space. A week before its scheduled demolition the clients managed to save it: purchasing it and hiring a crew to dismantle it piece by piece, carefully numbering and wrapping each tile in conservation paper.
The roof terrace celebrates the expansive view of New York City; the Empire State Building rises majestically in the distance. With trees lining the perimeters, the terrace feels grounded and adds to the client’s desire for an oasis.
