Living in [Caribbean] High Society

On the Menu High Society Eats
Music "High Society", sung by Norma Jean

"You weren't born with a silver spoon in your mouth...
...and hunger taught you to live on your own, with all your hopes and doubts"

--Norma Jean (from the song "High Society")

Only one real question to ask in this blog post.......
"Why does everyone want money and living nice so much, but it almost seems like folks are afraid to admit it?"

.....But I have no shame in my game to admit that one of my life's goals is to live in Caribbean High Society.

I'm hereby confessing my burning inner desire to be "Overly Financially Wealthy".

I think the thing that separates me from the rich snobs is that went I get that certain number of dollars (everyone has "that number" I think), then I won't ever think about making money again, I'll never be spending all my days running around trying to manage a bunch of people, dealing with financial advisers, tax lawyers, being cutthroat in the art of making more and more money for sport........not my thang. Just living and breathing, and trying to spread some positive energy through the world, that's it.

....so, there is no shame in my game. When I was last in the Caribbean, talking to a Dreadlocked construction worker, I said half joking an half serious... "Yeah man I'll be moving down here soon and you'll be working for me building my villa"

Then he said 100% serious......"Ya Mon', I hope you make it, because successful people like that allow me to put food on my family's table.

The construction worker with the Dreadlocks really got me thinking about my own mindset.

And as usual, why I contemplate something new, the information I need somehow pops up. In this case I ran across a quote by a philosopher which said [paraphrased]..."Fear not even your most selfish thoughts, because all you hard work intended to better your own circumstances, will inevitably better the circumstances of many others......."
