"Life is like a Power Yacht. Sometimes you just have to set it to 'Cruise Control'. Let go of the wheel,
and let the higher powers steer your ship...... Oh, and also enjoy the ride"

Honesty, i don't give a damn about the standing joke amongst yachting-wannabees.............

That joke being "For yacht lovers, the two happiest days of your life are the day you buy it, and the day you sell it!". Obviously implying yachts are a big "pain in the ass". My plan to address that is quite simple.....just make enough money for someone else to maintain that thing, you know, tweak the engines, scrub the barnacles off the bottom, and so on.

However, the job of being a butler, bartender, and chef at sea ..... No, No, No, those jobs belongs to me............

It just hit me that this article is the ultimate metaphor, especially since my conscious mind just wanted to post some cool boat photos and some good eats. But, if you notice at the end of all my "Wanderlust" articles, I use a Whitman quote to "sign" the articles so to speak. Whitman says "Sail forth, steer for deep waters...........".

I just thought that was a cool comment to stick into my blog. Now, I just realized I was writing with my subconscious "Auto-Pilot" or "Cruise Control" if you will, as I can feel myself letting go of the wheel of my ship, and letting the higher powers do the sailing.

Yep, I think I've made it, not that I have the yacht, that's probably not even relevant, but for sure, that my mind and spirit are on "Cruise Control"
(....didn't mean to get "deep", but I just can't help myself)

~stay healthy~

"Sail Forth. Steer for the deep waters only. Reckless O soul, exploring. I with thee and thou with me. For we are bound where mariner has not yet dared go. And we will risk the ship, ourselves, and all." --Walt Whitman
