After seeing the shots of this 296 square foot apartment in Brooklyn, NY…
…I was like, “man, I gotta step up my game in my almost twice as large studio apartment in Seattle.
But I’m not hatin’, only inspired at makeup artist Kim White’s cozy little “slice of heaven” crib.
But, I have to confess….
…a beautiful woman and a cozy crib, can get the mind of a brotha’ like me racing, cuz’ I’m someone with an absurdly vivid imagination.
So, Kim, saying this as a “gentleman at the core…..”, quoting Randy Crawford in the song embedded below… “I wanna Wrap You Up, in my arms tonight…”
..while we sip a little wine, watch a few Black Romantic comedies like
“Love Jones”, and “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”
….and try a few of these delicious food wraps. Yep!!! 🙂

The Healthy Chef’s “healthy morsel”: When getting shrimp, make sure you purchase Wild Caught Shrimp [Whole Foods has it], since Wild Caught Shrimp is surprisingly low in mercury and toxins as opposed to Farm Raised Shrimp.

The Healthy Chef’s “healthy morsel”: Swap in your fav’ fish for this recipe [mine is Chilean Sea Bass]. Check my list of low mercury fish if that’s a concern, I eat foods like cilantro and chlorella that keep my body free of excessive mercury.

The Healthy Chef’s “healthy morsel”: You can always use a big lettuce, collard green, or Swiss Chard leaf to wrap these. If using pitas just watch those toxic oils they use, such as Toxic Poison Canola, Safflower, and Sunflower. Very few pitas and grain wraps have healthy oils…..

The Healthy Chef’s “healthy morsel”: Great recipe as it is (using organic ingredients), though for me, instead of the vegan mayo, I’ll make a quick simple honey dijon mustard, simply by mixing some quality manuka honey with some organic brown mustard…..
