Fifty+, Fit and Fabulous!! Rachel True (age 51), Actress, Nutritionist (…she lives around the corner from the Fountain of Youth)

Mother Nature just keeps on cranking out these amazing 50+ year old ladies….

…so, I gotta keep cranking them out on my website. (…you ladies are making me work!!)

Rachel India True, age 51 as of Nov 15, 2017, is an American film and television actress and former fashion model.

…the social media world seems to be "freaking out" that she is actually over 50 years old!!!

[below] Although Rachel's character in her breakout role in the cult classic, "The Craft", from 1996, was that of a high shool teenager, she was actually 29 years old when they made that film!!! And, I'm assuming her youthful looks was not due to magic or witchcraft…..  🙂

She is best known for her roles in such films as  the cult classic "The Craft", also from "Nowhere", and "Half Baked", and is also remembered from the sitcom "Half and Half".

Though Rachel doesn't eat meat or dairy, she doesn't try to impose that eating program on others…..

[below] Based on the date of Rachel posting this photo on her Instagram page, the photo was taken a week before her 51st birthday. That's just INSANE!!!

As pertaining to not eating meat or dairy, Rachel says..

"..you don't have to do those things, but use your intuition to figure out where you can do a little better for your body, because everybody can regenerate their cells, it's not just me"

[below] I love that shot!!! 🙂

I respect Rachel's honesty when she says the motivation to start a holistic lifestyle came from the ages old motivation….

…she hated the way she looked (…after a major surgery)

After that major surgery a few years back (I'm assuming sometime in her 40's) Rachel said she looked….

"…fat, sick, and nearly dead. I looked like an old aunt, I looked every inch of my age"

[below] If I can make a non-obnoxious, male comment, that's just simply a cute pic below (…said professionally 🙂 )

Rachel went on to say…

"I thought,  I don't have to look ike this. If I exercise and cut out sugar, I can regenerate my cells…."

[below] In my battle of hating Instagram photos where women blatantly endorse products vs. an Instagram photo of a "naturally lovely" beautiful woman, the lovely face wins out in the end, and I had to post this photo from Rachel's Instagram page.

[below] BLOOPER ALERT!!! This is a screenshot of a short video from Rachel's Instagram page, where she is talking about vitamin C and lemons, but then she drops the one of the lemons she was holding at during the video. Too funny, she's cute even when she's clumsy, though she's gonna kill me for reposting that link 🙂

Here are more of Rachel's youthful beauty tips…..

On Her Skin: “After my dad passed,  I went on a junk food tear. He always called me fat, I was totally over weight, and did get cystic acne. I cut out the crap, lost weight, embedded zits went away".

[below] The benefits of being and actress, hanging out with Chris Rock and Bobby Brown…..

Rachel, on her hair:

“I’m no guru! Just a chick who happens to have some naturally curly hair. It’s not relaxed. or permed, just wash and go, but since I dye the heck out of my hair",

"…mainly because my dark natural color looks dense & blocky on camera, & to cover grey streak I inherited at 16), makes my hair fragile like a newborn kitten, like, it could split ends if you stare too hard".

Rachel, on her hair [continued]:

“What works for my fine curls, may not work for you. My hair changed textures when i moved from humid NYC to dry CA, had to adapt".

"My fine hair liked humidity. Whereas, if yours is thick, different boat.”

Rachel's Favorite Hair Products:

Olive Oil: "I keep some in the shower, once a week-ish, leave it in for a few hours or hair, shampoo out. Not a bad body moisturizer, either".

Kerastase: "I LOVE Kerastase. Too f’ing expensive though, be warned".

Rachel's Favorite Hair Products [continued]:

Aubrey-organics GPB conditioner: "I’ve used it forever, their web-site is full of comments from curly hair women singing praises. I find some of [the] products too heavy".

"GPB stands for glycogen protein balancer — in English, help moisturize when needed, fills in protein when needed".

Rachel's Favorite Hair Products [continued]:

Pure Shea Butter: "Once again, I have to wash out, some of your hair [may] absorb it".

Leave-In Conditioner: "I even leave GPB [glycogen protein balancer] in … and a good gel helps define"!

Rachel's comments on nutrition:

"My body has less aches and pains if I eat right. My mind is less moody if I eat right…. So for me, worth it".

"I really like the book Salt Sugar Fat: How the Food Giants Hooked Us.  Super helpful to see how manipulated we are by adverts and seduced by ‘food products’ masquerading as food".

Rachel's comment on youthful skin:

"One of the side effects of nourishing the body on a cellular level with whole foods,  pumping  oxygen in muscles from exercise, and not smoking  is ‘younger’ looking muscles and skin".

"In other words, looking younger can be a  side effect of healthy living".

Hey Rachel! In case you stumble across my site. Song below popped in my head when I saw your photos.

…I try not to get "emotionally involved" with the women I write about, but I gotta process out this "cyber-energy", of me being an "Over 50" Guy, with a "Schoolboy Crush" on you. Rachel, you're such a P.Y.T, "Pretty Young Thing" 🙂
