The “Cool School” (Part 4) …. Refreshing Summertime Adult Drinks

(1 above and next 4 photos below)  lavender kumquat shrub drink
(click photo above or any of next 4 photos for recipe)

my current favorite sweeteners are…….

UMF Manuka Honey
(mixes well in blender, one of the healthiest things you could ever put in your body)

Coconut Palm Sugar
(perfect substitute for recipes requiring processed sugar, brown sugar, or simple syrup mix)

Super Ripe Fruit!!!
(if applicable to recipe, really ripe fruit sweetens up a drink to where often that's all the sweetener I need)

….my list of Sweeteners to Avoid

(also, for recipes requiring salt, AVOID COMMON TABLE SALT!!!  ….and try mineral rich Pink Himalayan Salt)

A quick note on alcohol

many of these recipes are have alcohol, but you can tweak them to make them "Virgins" or add a drop or two of alcohol for a "hint" of alcohol taste, or use a lighter alcohol, such as a light wine.
