Nike Training Club: Lea Michele’s “Triple Threat” Workout

Nike Training Club is an Apple (or Droid) based app, a variety of workout routines straight from professional athletes and other "famous people", that can be downloaded to choose workout routines, set fitness goals, monitor calories burned, share results with others, and much more.

The 27 year old, Lea Michele, has such an inspirational perspective on life, fitness, and overall well being, that I though it would be a great motivational message to pass on to my younger readers.

A rigorous schedule of singing, dancing and acting doesn’t leave Lea a lot of time to work out. A Nike professional trainer created the Triple Threat workout specifically for Lea, to make the most out of every minute.

It’s a fully packed 15 minutes of functional training and yoga flow that challenges the whole body – arms, legs, abs, everything.

The actress/singer has teamed up with Nike Master Trainer Marie Purvis to create an exclusive total body workout, available to anybody with the Nike training club app.

Her fifteen minute workout can be performed just about anywhere and requires no extra equipment other than the app-carrying device.

Lea says……"I was told I wasn't pretty enough to make it on television. I grew up in a high school where if you weren't thin, or had a nose job, or money, then you weren't cool, popular, or beautiful."

She goes on to say….."But I knew what I wanted to be, and I kept that in my head at all times. If you believe in yourself, you can make yourself whatever you want to be."

"I didn't let what other people say was right, and what other people thought was cool or the right direction, steer me."
