“Short Story Long”: starting 2013 with a positive “vibration”

It's funny, I thought when I had to leave Chicago back in 2009 after the economy collapsed, it would be of short durtation, when an out of state opportunity came up in my technical field. Man!!!! that was almost 4 years ago!!! My "Short Story" has got pretty "Long"!!! Anyhoo, I know now home is where the heart is, and I see 2013 as my "breakout year" for my many goals.

The song "Short Story Long" by my favorite unknown artist Vatrena King still sustains me, just as it did when it was the first song I played driving out of Chicago in 2009, going "God Knows Where" for "God Knows How Long". Cleveland, Connecticut, Oregon, and now Seattle, as Vatrena said in her song "In Between", "……I'm on a journey you can bet!!!!!".

Vatrena's incredibly soothing voice has sustained, motivated, and inspired me these past 4 years, and just like when I listen to my old favorite Minnie Ripperton, I pretend their voices and lyrics are angels speaking to me, and God's way of sending sustaining energy to me, and teaching me to stay the course and keep going. Eyes on "The Prize" Douggie, Eyes on "The Prize". Below is Vatrena's video, "Short Story Long", it's almost like my "alter-ego" of my experience of moving to a strange new town, I still get a rush when I play it!!

I wrote about my guardian angel, favorite personal "songstress" Vatrena King twice before in my articles "The Happy List (a.k.a. Short Story Long)" and the feature widescreen article in "The Wanderlust Food Diaries" called "A Picnic on the Oregon Coast With Vatrena King".

Health and happiness to all in 2013, and try to make one small change for the sake of  your health and wellness and see if explodes into dozens of positive changes.

"I wanna kneel at the altar of life"
