My Top 10 Veggies [Arguably] more nutritious when Cooked/Steamed as opposed to Raw

Not trying to pick a fight with  the "raw foodies"………

But my research has shown that many veggies were started to be eaten raw only during the "Raw Foodie" movement, whereas, historically they were sometimes and in some cases, always cooked to bring out the nutrients.

Ok, that post made me hungry, my friend! Gorgeous – and very interesting too.
In a wintery land like mine, raw food just doesn't satisfy. Good to know I'm not missing out by putting the emphasis on soups at this time of year. When I'm really craving something raw and crunchy, I go for the fermented veggies. Best of both worlds.

That’s my trick, to trick people into healthy eating but making the food so mouth-watering delicious!!!! LOL, but anyway that for the comment, I don’t blog for money, and these comments are my only payment. Fermented veggies is the one thing I haven’t got into yet, but I intend to start this year. ~stay healthy!

You’re right about Beets, I was going to come out with a “Part 2” with 10 more veggies, and beets will be on that list.
