Taking control of your health through nutrition and lifestyle changes may seem daunting, and getting started may seem difficult.
........but it ends up becoming easy.
'The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step' --Lao Tzu
Many foods that we were told were bad for us can be very healthy and nutritious (once we learn how to purchase the quality version of the product).
.....good news for chocolate lovers :)
The human body is a divinely designed machine, totally capable of staying healthy and vibrant into the 60's, 70's, 80's and beyond.
....The human mind only has to accept this reality. We become our thoughts.
The concept that fast food tastes better is an illusion. By using quality ingredients, healthy foods simply blow away fast foods, as far as taste is concerned.
The human body, with proper nutrition, can slow down, and arguably reverse the aging process.
To be or not to be a vegan?
If you don't enjoy what you eat, all this is a waste of time.
I personally don't think you force yourself into any eating style. I found that the body will start to speak to you, and you will both add and eliminate foods, without compromising the joy of eating for the joy of health. You can have both!!! (And enjoy food even more as you progress)
''You say you don't have time to apply to exercise and proper nutrition. However if your doctor said that you have cancer and you have to come in for Chemo, then you surely would make the time for that.''
--Karyn Calabrese (the raw food Goddess, Chicago)
A bold statment this.....but I am convinced that nature has provided the mechanism for cancer prevention, and it is quite easy to attain and implement into your diet.
....look for my first of many articles on cancer. I propose that cancer is nothing but a nutrient deficiency.
This will forever be a FREE website; there is nothing to sell. What you most need, you already have within yourself, which is your own innate instinct to make sound, informed decisions about your nutrition and lifestyle.
.....plus, I just hate ads :)
In the age of Botox, Liposuction, and excessive makeup, one should realize that nutrition is the most potent weapon in the fight to look fresh and youthful.
'You can definitely make sound and informed decisions about your nutrition, in spite of all the contradictory information on the web and on television'.
''You have to be a light unto yourself, in a world that has become utterly dark'' -- Jiddu Krishnamurti
How is one to get started in making changes?
Perhaps one way might be to make the decision to experiment with a few dietary and lifestyle changes, and observe the results.
....positive results will provoke more changes and more investigation.
Obviously, wellness is not all about food.
Of greater importance is the need to "re-calibrate" our thinking and reconnect with our inner spirits, in order to experience happier healthier, more fulfilled lives.
I'm introducing a technique called called 'Flip the Script'.
This art is the ability to take the recipe for a food that has been known to be unhealthy, and via changing certain ingredients, 'flip' the recipe into not only a very healthy, but even more tasty experience.
''I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.''
